Position:        Construction Services Coordinator/Project Manager


Reports to:     Executive Director of Construction and Community Services


Supervises:     None


Qualifications:

Position Goal: To provide leadership and expertise in the development and execution of strategic plans and to support multiple aspects of the operation of the Construction Services department.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
     1. Assist with the completion of construction/project objectives and project schedules.
     2. Serve as the liaison for information between faculty, school site staff, project construction managers, architects,  

        engineers and other professional partners.
     3. Perform office responsibilities including scheduling appointments, calendar invites, creating agendas, filing, copying,

        organizing, typing letters and certified mail for the Construction Services office.
     4. Solicit, verify and approve proposals for work by various contractors for Jenks Public Schools.
     5. Prepare and organize documents for Board of Education meetings as established by the Executive Director.
     6. Verify and review contractor pay applications and invoices for payment.
     7. Support in maintaining accurate records for audit files.
     8. Prepare requisitions and purchase orders as requested.
     9. Assist with maintenance of Construction Services webpage.

   10. Deliver items to outside sources as requested including project close-outs.
   11. Coordinate and manage end of project staff requests, punch lists, warranty items, and District systems owner training.
   12. Collaborate with Executive Director in developing an understanding of the needs, issues, and constraints of the project.
   13. Coordinate and schedule project team meetings with internal District departments (Facilities Management, Information

        Technology, and Warehouse).
   14. Work with faculty and school sites in scheduling on site utility closures, safety plans, and subcontractor on-site/field

        visits.
   15. Review and aid in the preparation of Title 61 sealed bid documents and submissions.
   16. Monitor bid process including return of bid bond checks, late bids, etc.
   17. Research project issues and topics and provide the appropriate reports as established by the Executive Director.
   18. Coordinate furniture and equipment orders (FFE), including preparing Requests for Proposals (RFP), budgets, and data

        infrastructure, delivery, installation and final punch.
   19. Coordinate and plan Ground Breaking and Ribbon Cutting District Events and perform other public relations duties with

        respect to construction projects.
   20. Chair and/or attend school construction committees and other District committees.
   21. Perform all other duties as assigned.


Employment Terms: Twelve (12) month classified annual contract


FLSA Qualification: Exempt
