Position:            Jenks Trojan Lacrosse Class Instructor

Reports To:       Jenks Trojan Girls Lacrosse Coordinator

Supervises:       None

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma required, and previous lacrosse, soccer or basketball experience preferred.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with players and parents.
3. Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
4. Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health, citizenship and background check.
5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal:   To provide lacrosse coaching to kindergarten through second grade girls in the after school program ensuring a safe and positive environment.

Performance Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrates knowledge of lacrosse skills and is able to teach basic skills to youth girls.
2. Creates an environment that is conducive to learning basic lacrosse skills.
3. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior.
4. Assists with maintenance and inventory of assigned materials and equipment.
5. Models positive and professional support with students and staff.
6. Serves as lacrosse coach and ambassador for the program.
7. Maintains an up-to-date list and attendance of participants.
8. Prepares and submits necessary evaluations.
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.
