Position: Jenks Trojan Lacrosse Class Instructor
Reports To: Jenks Trojan Girls Lacrosse Coordinator
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required, and previous lacrosse, soccer or basketball experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with players and parents.
- Ability to represent Jenks Public Schools and Jenks Community Education with integrity and respect.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health, citizenship and background check.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To provide lacrosse coaching to kindergarten through second grade girls in the after school program ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of lacrosse skills and is able to teach basic skills to youth girls.
- Creates an environment that is conducive to learning basic lacrosse skills.
- Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior.
- Assists with maintenance and inventory of assigned materials and equipment.
- Models positive and professional support with students and staff.
- Serves as lacrosse coach and ambassador for the program.
- Maintains an up-to-date list and attendance of participants.
- Prepares and submits necessary evaluations.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
