Position: Strong Readers Act Tutors - Classified (3 openings)
Reports to: Site/Building Principal and Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To provide intensive remediation in reading to students on Academic Progress Plans.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work with individual and/or small group instruction.
Employment Terms: Temporary Classified Contract; as needed, not to exceed 15 hours per week
FLSA Qualification: Non-exempt
