Position: Site Administrative Assistant - Community Education and Aquatic Center
Reports to: Director of Community Education and Director of Aquatic Center
Supervises: None
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Demonstrate ability to use oral and written communication effectively.
- Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly organized clerical skills required.
- Good interpersonal skills with students and adults.
- Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Position Goal: To assist in the daily operation of the Community Education and Aquatic Center offices and effectively maintain Community Education records.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Serves as first point of contact and responds to customer questions and requests for information regarding all Community Education and Aquatic Center programs in a friendly and prompt manner in person, over the phone and via email.
- Assists the directors and office staff with daily operations and handles issues that arise with classes, instructors, and customers.
- Processes customer enrollments, tracks billing and payments, runs financial reports, and handles transfers and refunds in a timely manner.
- Helps prepare for classes and events including submitting facility use forms, preparing and sending after-school class lists to sites, communicating changes to instructors and customers, and more.
- Keeps office, front counter, and paperwork neat and organized.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Employment Terms: Twelve (12) month classified hourly contract
